Implementing AMP Analytics Tag on the Page

Before implementing the Carbon Analytics tag please confirm that you have the AMP analytics script on your AMP pages. This is the standard AMP script, not specific to Carbon and should look like the below:

Once confirmed please implement the Carbon AMP tag across your AMP pages:

PARENT_ID is to be replaced with your Organization ID, which will be provided by your account manager.

Example: Carbon Organization ID is 450c2822, the tag would look like the below.

Setting Up Audience Targeting

Step 1: On page Ad Unit update

In order to target GAM campaigns to Carbon Audiences, each AMP Ad Unit on the AMP site needs to have our AMP Targeting endpoint setup under the rtc-config attribute, under the urls key.

Step 2: GAM Key-Value Set Up

Log in to your GAM account, and in the sidebar navigation under Inventory, click Key-values.

Add ccamp_audiences as a new Dynamic Key Value and select “Include values in reporting,” then save without entering any Targeting values.

Step 3: Targeting a Campaign to AMP Ad Units In the targeting parameters of a line item, select Custom Targeting and find the ccamp_audiences key-value. Add in the Audience ID you would like to target against, from the Carbon platform, into the key-value field and your campaign is ready to deliver.
