Audience Cohort Analysis

The Audience Cohort feature - accessed by clicking on an audience name in the 'My Audiences' table - provides a comprehensive summary of each audience.

On the audience cohort page for each audience you can see summary stats such as the audience's date range, who created it, when it was created, and when it was last ran; as well as the total audience reach. At the top right of the cohort analysis page you will also see the options to edit, activate or delete the audience too.

As well as a summary statement providing headline stats on the audience, the Audience Cohort page provides a comprehensive breakdown including:

  • Full demographic breakdowns allow you to toggle between indexed signals (how it compares vs the Carbon network) and composition (the percentage breakdown of your own signals).
  • Intent breakdown shows the ranked areas of intent for the specific audience with the associated addressable reach. Here you can also toggle between Carbon sourced data (1st party) and ‘All sources’ (which including 1st, 3rd and local storage).
  • Brands breakdown shows the ranked areas of brand intent for the specific audience with the associated addressable reach.
  • Location breakdown shows the ranked locations for the specific audience including the addressable reach numbers from each of the locations within an audience.
  • Properties breakdown shows the ranked properties, ranked by the addressable audience reach. The URLs displayed here are based on the potential locations of high impression volume delivery for this audience. These do not represent the source of Carbon intent signals collected for this audience.
  • URLs breakdown shows the ranked URLs across all properties for the specific audience, ranked by addressable reach. The URLs displayed here are based on the potential locations of high impression volume delivery for this audience. These do not represent the source of Carbon intent signals collected for this audience.
  • Device breakdown shows a rank of most popular devices within the specific audience including desktop, smartphone, tablet and ereader.
  • Operating System breakdown shows a rank of most popular operating systems within the specific audience including the likes of Windows, Android, IOS and others.

Users can export this analysis as a PDF or Powerpoint simply by clicking the ‘Export as’ dropdown towards the top right of the Cohort page and selecting either ‘PDF’ or ‘PPT’.
